Papaya Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls have become all the rage of late. You make a smoothie, put it in a bowl and add some toppings, and voila! A smoothie bowl! It’s a really fun way to fill up on fruits and vegetables. Smoothie bowls make for a great breakfast or lunch. They’re easy to make, portable and offer your body loads of nutrients and an easy to digest meal. There’s also tons of variations you can make, like smoothies, the sky is the limit! Smoothie bowls are more satisfying than a regular smoothie because you can’t down it in 20 seconds.

I made this papaya smoothie bowl for breakfast in less than 5 minutes. I love papaya, it’s super high in vitamin C and has so many other health benefits. I added to a smoothie maker, some papaya, half an apple, dates, coconut milk, turmeric powder and freshly grated ginger. Don’t add too much of coconut milk as you want the mixture to be super creamy. Pour the thick smoothie in a bowl. You can top the smoothie bowl with whatever toppings you prefer, like almonds, kiwi fruit, granola, chia seeds and fresh papaya.
